Frequently Asked Questions

What does the application process consist of?

All prospective residents must complete a RealChek application, which you can print here or you can pick up in our office. Applications must be accompanied by a $20 (per applicant) check or money order made payable to RealChek.

Upon submission we will receive a credit report from TransUnion, information about your past rental history, and a score (from 0-10) based on this history. Things that affect this score adversely are: reporting false information, court cases against you/evictions, late payments, unauthorized people or pets, complaints, failure to maintain rental property, and/or damage reports.

A score of 5 or above is required for residency in any Constine Community. There is a special scoring system for those lacking prior rental history.

How do I purchase a home from Constine Communities?

Submitting the RealChek application and receiving a passing score is the first step. Then once you have passed one of our sales people will assist you in finding the right home. A purchase agreement will be signed next, and the financing process will begin. If you do not already have a source for the necessary funds, we have several lending partners that will be happy to review your application. You will be ready to close on your new home when the financing process is finished. This entire process is usually completed in 30 days or less.

What will my house payment look like?

If you require financing when purchasing a home from us, your house payment will depend on your credit score and the amount you have to put down. To get an estimate of what your monthly house payment might be, click here.
